Questions about this service
Are new flashes and floaters serious?
They can be. Sudden new flashes, many floaters or a shadow across vision need urgent eye evaluation to rule out a retinal tear or detachment.
Does every retinal problem need surgery?
No. Management depends on the diagnosis and can range from monitoring to medicines, laser or surgery.
